Drumroll, please…the boys and I are excited to announce that we collected 291 books for kids around the Chippewa Valley.

The first (and biggest) round of shopping is complete! Book totals to come…stay tuned.

We won’t know total book numbers until we go shopping this weekend (one of our favorite parts!!), but I’ve got three updates for you.

So far we’ve collected books/donations from 12 states (including the District of Columbia).

Thanks to everyone who supported our little project on day 1. We’ve collected 20 books already and several gift card/monetary donations already, too.

That’s right! Our *little* book donation project is back again this year! We’ve set even higher goals for the 2021 book drive, so please consider supporting us if you can. Even just a $1 or $2 would help!

We continue to work through some fun graphs after our book donation project.

It sure would have been fun to bring these books to the library for a proper end to our book drive, but when there are 329 of them, having Covid as an excuse to schedule a pick up isn’t all bad.

We cannot thank our friends and family enough. This project took on a life of its own and were are just thrilled to be making a difference in the lives of kids in need in our community.

We’re closing the door on day five of our ten-day donation window. So far, we’ve collected 140 books. Wow. Just wow.
