Day 2658 | Cake Decorating
/The boys spent last night learning how to decorate cakes with their 4-H club. Fun, right? Also, very messy. But mostly fun.

Yeah, I don’t mind a lazy Sunday. Not at all.
Robbe killed it at today’s piano competition. He worked SO hard over the last few weeks and it totally paid off. He even made it to the next level!
We’re so proud of this little dude for all the effort he put in.
After a walk to the library, Chase and I spent some time reading with the bun. He tries to eat the books more than an ideal reading friend would but he’s got other redeeming qualities.
Birthday round 3/4 wrapped up today with Robbe’s Dungeons & Dragons-themed birthday party. He had the best time ever—just so happy and enthusiastic. Even Chase was a good sport as Dungeon Master and assistant party-planner.
And now we have at least a short birthday break. A welcomed break, no doubt about that (although the beginning of April is feeling awful close at the moment).
Robbe did AMAZING at tonight’s piano recital. He picked a tough song that he’s been working on for months and he crushed it. So proud of this guy
That’s right…our *little* guy is now ten. Things are getting serious over here.
We had a really lovely day celebrating all of his favorite things: video games, shopping, D&D, ice cream cake, soup (he loves soup!), and a Marvel movie. Pretty fantastic, right?
I just love him so much.
We’re kicking off the birthday weekend the best way we know how…with a trip to the arcade. It’s not my favorite, but I’m not the one celebrating a 10th (!!) birthday.
